How hard is it to put a six cylinder in place of a four ?

Have a 91 Jeep wrangler with 4 cylinder in it now , want to change it to a straight 6 ,motor of the same year ,came out of a 91 camanche. Is this an easy swap ? Engine mounts ,electrical, transmission mount up,things like that. How hard is it to put a six cylinder in place of a four ?
its not going to be that bad the hardest for you will be the wiring part of it .good luck about 12 to 15 hour jobHow hard is it to put a six cylinder in place of a four ?
Yep... a 12 to 15 hour job for a mechanic who knows what he's doing, in a shop with all the right tools and parts available to do the swap. Oh, yes... And a shop rate cost of about $75.00 per hour.

For all that, you get a 16 year-old engine with questionable reliability and really lousy fuel mileage!

Good luck with that.
