How to change from 300 st8 6 to 5.0 or 5.8? will transmission work?

hello i need to know if my auto transmission will work from my 1994 f150 4x4 work if i swap the motor out to a 5.0 or a 5.8 not really a ford guy and do i need new motor mountsHow to change from 300 st8 6 to 5.0 or 5.8? will transmission work?
you will need the v8 mounts, and the tranny should work..How to change from 300 st8 6 to 5.0 or 5.8? will transmission work?
tranny should work, but if not there are always adapter kits that will make it work. But I would keep that 4.9 stright6 more torque if you off road,torque is better than H.P,it is about the same size engine,just the inline 6 will last longer and you can pull more.
