Motor swap from quad 4 to a V-6 how complicated?

Was wondering if all I had to do was mounts and change out the computer also use existing wire harnessMotor swap from quad 4 to a V-6 how complicated?
very hard not worth itMotor swap from quad 4 to a V-6 how complicated?
are you serious? you're going to try to put a V-6 in a car that originally had a 4 cylinder?

well, if you were going to do it, you would need to develop new mounting hardware, re-do pretty much all the engine related wiring, you would have to find ways to mechanically link the engine to all the other stuff like the alternator, power steering, water pump, etc. Plus you would need a new transmission that is tuned for the higher torque of the larger engine.

Trust me, if you try to do this, you will destroy your vehicles. If you need to ask questions online to figure it out, then you don't have the experience you would need to do this.

Just sell the car and buy one with a bigger engine. It will be cheaper, faster, and easier than a do-it-yourself job.

If you insist on doing this, would you please send me the address where you will be performing the work. I just might stop by to laugh at you when you realize the new engine won't fit and you've destroyed the car so badly that you can't even get the old engine back in.Motor swap from quad 4 to a V-6 how complicated?
the other guy was right but not completely and a bit harsh there. if you have a car that comes out with a v6 as an option then its possible you just need a donor car, cause you need to change the mounts tranny and exhaust and some mo things like the computer/ wireing and yeah somemo things. so yeah its easyer to get one that has it but its so much more rewarding when you do it yourself.Motor swap from quad 4 to a V-6 how complicated?
i agree with smart a$$,but better question is why...either way the car is a crappy old olds...
