I need to change my motor mounts on my 96 dodge grand caravan v6 3.3liter?

I was told recently by a mechanic that i needed to change my motor mounts on my 96 dodge grand caravan. He said they were in really bad condition and that was the reason why the van shakes on the freeway when its up to speed. I do trust him and that's why i believe him but he broke up with my sister recently and i dont talk to him anymore. Can someone give me some advice on what i need. I believer i also need the transmission mount too. I dont know what i need to buy though or how many parts i need. I would like to do it myself if its easy too so please give me any information that would be benificiary. ThanksI need to change my motor mounts on my 96 dodge grand caravan v6 3.3liter?
a motor mount on a Caravan is a piece of cake.

Jack up and support vehicle. jack up engine slightly. the mount that goes bad is on the front of the engine between the starter and radiator support. the front engine mount. good luck.I need to change my motor mounts on my 96 dodge grand caravan v6 3.3liter?
Torn Motor mounts don't make the car shake. They keep the engine connected to the car frame. You might need motor mounts, but something else needs fixing to stop the car from shaking. Wheel alignment can do more to stop shaking while the car is up to speed. Get your hands on a Chilton's or any good auto repair manual. You can even see it at the library, so you can decide whether or not you want to try to replace the motor mounts. You need a set of wrenches, jack stands to hold the vehicle up high enough so you can safely work under it and you need a floor jack to move the engine and transmission up while you remove and replace the damaged parts. This will keep you busy all day.
