How much trouble to change a motor mount?

About how much trouble is it to change a motor mount on a 1992 Ford Taurus with a 3.0 motor? How much would the mount cost from a junkyard? How much trouble to change a motor mount?
The thing you have to do is support the motor with a jack from underneath or from above and then its just unbolt the old mount from the motor and the bracket that is bolted or welded to the frame of the car. I would get a new mount from an auto parts store as opposed to a junkyard. Your car is FWD so you also have transmission mounts as well as two or three mounts so you have to be careful to know which mount you want to change or you may end up with the wrong oneHow much trouble to change a motor mount?
Changing a mount is not hard. You just undo the mount with that side of the engine jacked up.

If you are changing a motor mount then get a new one, junk one might be bad or even worse than the one you are changing, if the mount is accessible then you would need to jack the engine up a bit to remove it, but you need to be careful , if you don't have the right tools then leave it to a proHow much trouble to change a motor mount?
Forget the junk yard. There's no use going to all that work replacing a vital part with something from a scrap yard. Get the car on jack stands. place a piece (8%26quot;) of a 2/4 piece of wood beneath the oil pan block up a hydraulic bottle jack or floor jack under the piece of wood and oil pan. Jack it up till the wood no longer moves on the oil pan. Remove the broken motor mount using the jack to lift slightly if needed.

Replace it with a new one from an auto parts store or dealership.
