Is it a motor mount or a transmission mount?

I wanna replace the bottom center mount on my 2002 ford focus ZTS, Automatic. DOHC. My car gives a push when changing gears and I think it's the mount. I know that my car has two mounts on top, one on each side(right and left). What is the other one called? Is the %26quot;dog bone%26quot; the same as the transmission mount? Do I need to replace the three? How many motor and transmission mounts are there? Please help. Thank you.Is it a motor mount or a transmission mount?
Best to insect he mounts with 2 people. One person holds the brake and shifts from Drive to Neutral to Reverse while the other person watches the engine's movement. You can then watch the mounts to see which ones are allowing the engine and tranny to move excesively. The lower mounts are harder to inspect w/o gettign under the car. You may be better off finding a shop that does free diagnostic. They can put it on a lift or drive it over a pit to inspect the lower mounts.

It's called a tranny mount if it's connected to the tranny. It's a motor mount f it's connected to the motor.

The dog bone is a %26quot;torque strut%26quot; or %26quot;torque mount%26quot;.Is it a motor mount or a transmission mount?
Many shops will diagnose for free. My shops diagnose up to 1 hr at no charge. If you're in Southern CA, email me. Diagnostic doesn't just apply to check engine lights. Diagnostic is any time you diagnose a problem, whether it's a misfire or weird noise.

If you're getting throttle steer torque, you more than likely have a transmission problem with the power being distributed to only one wheel.

Not a transmission/transaxle mount problem.
